DRL options on hawekey
Damn, I hate when I mis-spell a thread title
Just wondering what options there are or what mods people have done for Daytime Running Lights on hawkeyes (or other models).
I've seen aftermarket light units with an LED bit around the rim. Expensive though.
I've seen aftermarket fog lights from USA with a LED and fog light, where the LED cuts out when the fog light bulb switches on. Bit expensive and I'm not sure of the UK legalities.
Cheapest option is to just drive with dipped lights on during the day but that's a bit volvo.
Anything thing else?

i have a set of after market bolton jobbies bolted onto my gril. (blobeye) switched on from the acc circuit so they come on with ignition. dead easy to fit, you can connect a wire from the sidelights so they dim when the man lights are on, but i couldnt be arsed with doing that.

None, I don't agree with non equipped cars putting drl's on them imo, makes them look tacky if you know your cars and which cars come with them stock. The oe equipped cars do look better as they have proper led lumens fitted to create the desired effect.
This is all my opinion though.
