I did the same. The only difference is I painted my reflector with Plasti Dip so I can completely reverse this mod if I ever need to.

Best would be oven or do as they did in that video. I've tried hairdryer but it didn't work. Had to use oven in the end.

Just one more thing to remember. Not sure how B9SLJ did it but to fit my projectors I had to order mounting rings from Retrofitlab. Cost me £13 and were delivered in 2 days. Ones provided with projectors only enable you to fit them in H4 and H7 housings.

Nah, don't worry lol. I was afraid too, especially as I have gas oven. I was afraid that burner may damage my lenses. I set my temp at gas mark 4 and put the headlight just for 5 mins

I've been umming and arring about this. I even emailed the Retrofitlab about the adapter plates as I wasn't sure whether the eBay ones would work. It put me off when RFL siad they were like £20 for some metal plates.

So the ones in your link sit nice and sturdy then B9SLJ? Did you wire up the high beam shield?

So step one..

I've had to open out the entrance into the projectors as H1 bulbs won't fit. I've also got to source some screws as they haven't been provided to fix the shrouds.

Step two..

Baking the lights.. I tried 150 degrees for 4 mins, my light is now like a big blob of jelly! LOL!. Managed to fudge it back together and get it back in the car. Trip to a breakers this weekend I think!

B9SLJ - I'm guessing you wired the black and red into the main beam cables? On mine I have a red and a red and blue to my main beam, which is the posi? Guessing the red only?

Sorry to hear your havin trouble mate , Maybe the supplier has had a bad batch if the h1s don't fit an screws are missing. Mine were ok
I only set my oven at 90c to split the lights
i would say red only is live , but double check with tester before u connect, will have a look at my own lights later to see wat colours I have, my car was a bugeye that I converted to blob so wiring is slightly different anyway

No bother mate, I'm pretty savy with my hands so I'll have ankther crack at it when I get a new light from the breakers. I did it previously on another car so should be OK.
