Default psi3 data monitor OR more defi gauges

i have 3 defi gauges at the minute with a defi controller (boost/oil temp and oil pressure)

i also have a psi3 data monitor-do i buy a few more defis for fuel/battery etc or can the psi3 do that?

if so where do i get the sensors from for the psi3?

this is the unit i have

gauges are pointless unless you know how to read them and you would be surprised how many dont.

oil temp and pressureand boost are a good idea then fuel pressure and wideband afr.

voltage etc are pointless id say in an everyday road car.

Whatever is plugged into your defi controller , ie if you want fuel pressure buy just the defi fuel pressure sender and wire to the controller and it displays it

One in the for sale section

Always wanted one but never had the room with a double din stereo and I'm only really worried about oil temp an pressure so the display worked well for what I want

not saying there is anything wrong with the defi, just saying they work slightly differently.

really defi stuff is about the best gauge wise.

if you are planning on keeping the gauges i wouldnt bother with either the psi3 or the defi link as basically its just a digital version of what you have.

i had a psi3 a few years back and the issue with it i found was its not as easy to read as gauges and with gauges you can see all the readings at once.

i wouldnt mind a couple of gauges down the drivers side of the windscreen so i may possibly sell it,just leaves me with a nasty hole under the single din unit

buy a double din unit, another reason why i got rid of the psi3.

you already have the defi control unit so its not going to be overly expensive to buy whatever other gauges you need.

Doesn't need to be as its got warnings that tell me if there is a problem and it tells me when its warm , other than that I watch where I'm going not my gauges
