Question Short Shift?

Hi,i was thinking of getting a short shift kit and was wanting to find out how good it is.Have any of you got it fitted since you've owned your car?Is it a big difference from the normal set up? I have an 05 sti if this makes any difference.Thanks,Davy.

I've just bought an 04 STI with the Prodrive quickshift kit fitted and compared to my 02 WRX it's amazing. It feels like a race car gear change

they do m8, but they can be shortened more!

never fitted 1 but I have seen them and looks like it is just a cause of removing the gaiter, undo the bolt and changing over. The linkage does not get changed from what I could tell so at least there is no messing around with linkage alignment

Since i live in carrick you can see the one in mine if you want, you are both pretty close. I drove a standard one before i bought mine but it was too long ago to comment on the difference. Side by side you'd soon see if it was worth it. They aren't cheap from memory, at least the subaru one isn't.

Yep that's me, far too many black ones about . Including mine, i think i've seen 4 or so about carrick, and i thought blue was common. Although mine is the nicest .

Just drop me a pm, sunday afternoons are the best time for me, you can see what you think.

Us black driving sti's consider ourselves above all you common blue peasant subaru's, that's why we don't wave

Anytime i wave i never get one back, and you feel like a prat, only one person has ever waved back.

Mine is the one without the roof vent.
