New Owner
Hello Folks,
It has been a long time coming, but finally i have able to afford a subaru and so am now the proud owner of one. I thought i had grown out of them, i was looking at BMWs etc, being 28 and all, but then foolishly went for a test drive in one at Donnellys in Belfast, the crystal grey one they have for sale at 17K, and was blown away. It's only now the insurance is more than acceptable thanks to Greenlight, getting quotes at around 2k is silly from everyone else.
I'm not going to post any pics, because if you go to the private for sale section and look for the MY05 sti plus extras or something like that you'll see it. I flew over on Friday and bought the car, got the ferry from Liverpool home. It is as good if not better than in the pictures, a credit to the first owner, a pure petrolhead, with a focus ST as a company car; never seen that before!
I'm coming from a Fabia VRS, which i've had for just over two years, but it was time to move, and was/is a fantastic little car, regardless of what some people say, as long as you don't think it's a flying machine! It's quite a bit different to the sti.
So hopefully i can contribute to the forums a bit now; when i'm about, and if you're driving around carrickfergus or belfast and happen to see an 05 GB number plate, give me a wave or flash the lights and you'll get one back.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. That probably was me jaybo79, usually on that road past greenisland everyday, and more often than not sitting in traffic! Pretty sure i seen you the other night brocks at the traffic lights on the marine highway, well if you have a silver lower mesh grille it was.
