I know these things are hard on juice but...

Has anyones fuel light stayed on even after filling?
Light came on yesterday, put half a tank in but the darn light just wont go out.

On my classic, I can fill it up from empty, and drive home, about 5 minutes, and the tank stil does not show as full. This is because it takes ages for the gauge to move. So you may be experiencing that, unless you are saying your car shows as half a tank and the light is still on. Are you?
