Default Scooby security in Dublin

Hi there

I am probably relocating to Dublin soon and I am wondering whether I should bring my WRX with me or get something more practical. When I used live in Dublin, a number of years ago now, owning a WRX was practically ensuring your car would be nicked. Have things changed much? Would I be worried anytime I ever parked it somewhere? Would someone break into the house?

Any advice appreciated.
Paul

BTW car would be in garage and I have just about got my head around the ridiculous insurance and tax rates that would apply.
