Guys,

Have many of you tried this stuff yet.

I've been using it now for a couple of weeks in my STI7 PPP, and it does seem to make a difference.

Previously been using Shell SUL, but the BP stuff really does make the thing so much more responsive.

Interesting to see what everyone else thinks.

Shaun , I have been reading some of Irelands topics and can't beleive shell have not introduced optimax in Ireland thet.I have been using it since I purchased my01 wrx and beleive me if you think that bp ultimate unleaded is making a differance I hope that it is not long before shell pull there finger out of there a*ses and get optimax to you guys so that you can feel the differance for yourselfs.
BP introduced ultimate unleaded to aberdeen about 3 months ago.
I strayed away from optimax for 2 tank fulls of ultimate unleaded and returned to optimax .Reasons being drop in performance and not so smooth a drive .

I find little difference between this and normal SUL, apart from 1p per litre, car (STI UK PPP) still runs smoother with a little octane improver.

I`ve been buying BP Ultimate since December and I dont see a big difference. Is it better for your engine than the standard RON97?
Is octane booster bad for your Cat? Do you have your cats removed Andy as part of the PPP upgrade?
