Default Anyone looking for a Dash-Cam - Check this one out!

My GW1 Dash-Cam arrived this morning and to say I am pleased with it would be an understatement. Especially for £45.00 Delivered!

I did swear a couple of times so apologies for that

Anyway, certainly recommend one of these, quality is excellent and it's very easy to use.

Here's a link to the seller on the Bay (Mods please remove if not allowed)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1812660315...84.m1497.l2649

Delivery took about 3 days too

Regards

Good point. All I'm worrying about is the longevity of this product I might give it a while and if the OP can give a update further down the line that would be helpfulSJ.

Of course will update with any new developments with this but so far I am very impressed and for the money apparently it's the new to get from what I have read since I got this. Another point to add and I thinks it's an important point is that the mount is very secure with no wobble or play. So far so good

Does the camera screw onto the mount? As in could you change the mount from suction cup to a cage mount?

I bought one very very similar to the one in the OP's link last year. I tried it out when i first got it and thought it was great and a right bargain....until i used it a few months later on a trackday.

I got one session of footage before it decided to keep switching itself off after 20 seconds of filming every time i used it after! Its been in the kitchen draw every since...

No it doesn't, there's a hole in the top of the camera that allows the mount to slot into the camera.

I have posted a link below that should show the mount and also various other details of this camera. (Not me in the video by the way )

Hopefully this one will last fella, using it daily now as a tester and will update if anything occurs

Excellent review video of this camera:

I'd be interested to know how you get along with it after a few weeks, I'm doing a continental trip at the end of the summer including the Nurburgring so I'm looking for video backup in the event of an unforeseen problems.
