I have a crappy boost gauge that is white, and am looking to upgrade it. I want a gauge that is white, with a red needle, and glows the same as the dashboard ones do in the dark. Not asking for much here am I Does anyone know of a gauge that will match the existing dash ?

Cheers Phill C

PS Looking for oil temp as well

Phill,

The best match to the Scooby dash is the Defi stuff. NAM, Scoobyworld, Scoobymania and Nitosport sell them.

If you want the best deal, I'd speak to Scoobyworld or NAM. The others aren't as competitive on pricing IMHO.

Phill,

SCOSaltire and I asked about discounts for 2 of the 3 instrument Defi kits from Scoobyworld and NAM. Maybe with 4 players, we might get a better discount ??

I'll see if SCOSaltire has had any more feedback. Are you interested?

The defi gauges are nice but expensive. Do you have to buy the control unit ?

I think I'll have the Boost and the oil temperature, what else should I have ?

Do they match the dash board dials when the lights are on ?

Not sure if I should get the A pilliar pods or the centre pod

Phil, I've got Defi's in mine and the match is pretty darn good. The control box will come with the guages, so not an "extra" to buy, if that was what you were wondering.

On the "old" shape, I think the centre pod is the nicer of the two options, hence the reason I have it

i have 3 companys that got back to me initially on single buys...

how many are really interested?

from one company the price is initially 475...
they gave a small reduction for 2. I shall ask for prices for a larger buy.
I was hoping to hear back from another company with a good offer for 2...

does anyone require fitting by whoever supplies them? I shall get a local garage to fit them - or maybe follow ozzy's fitting attempt.
does the following suit? its what im after:
52mm gauges: oil pressure, oil temperature, boost pressure.
centre pod - nice curvy defi one to match 99/00 interior.
All sensor fittings and control unit.

How many are kinda interested - to get an appoximate for the discount?

Older cars can have a 3 pillar mount pod, new ones get the 01 hood etc.
Can do egt.

I can also fit for £50.
