Wrx front seats
Hi there, looking to buy my first impreza and I've seen a few wrx bug eye imprezas with Regular front seats as Apposed to the bucket style reclines I've seen in most others , why is this and is it an easy swap over to put the relining buckets in?

I believe it was a optional extra to have buckets on the original. Mine have been changed but be aware the airbag light will come on when you swap round..Its worth it though..scooby without buckets is awful lol

The bugeye came with the recliners pictured with airbags, or the buckets without airbags. The airbag light can be sorted with either a resistor in the loom, or a genuine Subaru squib to cancel the light - which is a resistor in a fancy housing to fit straight into the OE connector

The squibs are about a tenner each from Subaru iirc, or you can pick up some 3ohm resistors for a few pence each. There's a live thread somewhere on that discussion - a quick search should help you out
