Subaru Hawkeye Spec D Steering Column Cover
Hi all,
Hope someone here can help
I am trying to find out what the 2 senors(if they are sensors) located on the steering column cover of a subaru hawkeye spec d? A similar sensor is fitted by the map interior light on a blobeye.
Also trying to find out where the mic for the pioneer unit fitted to the Spec D is
Thanks in advance

I know the pioneer was from standard, but believe this was fitted in the UK. Just confused cause it does not look anything like the mic pictured in the installation manual.
will check this out tomorrow, maybe one could be a dummy cover.
Thanks again

Thank you, forgot about the smartnav, never used and removed this about two months ago, so never cross my mind.
Have you had problems syncing an iPhone's phone book to the pioneer unit, I have an iPhone 5 and have to sync the phone everytime I get into the car and cannot transfer the phone book

I also found the handsfree mic on the Pioneer was not very sensitive so replaced it with one running to the top of the A pillar so it was closer to my mouth.
Whilst I could pair my iPhone4 OK, I had to manually connect everytime I got in the car and got a bit pi$$ed off with it so I bought an Alpine unit which worked fine. Then I got an S3
