Default Hawkeye pillar pods

hi guys,

im trying to source a pillar pod for my hawkeye sti.

Have found 2 suppliers.....

http://www.nomadracing.com/catalog/p...roducts_id=427

http://rspec.co.uk/gauge-pods-access...ble-pillar-pod

Does anyone know if these are a direct match for colour replacement?

Ideally id like to keep it the same colour as the pillar on passenger side too.

Thanks in advance

Dan

I have rspec version. It's exact colour match. Although its too short for my wagon. I'm trying to work out if there is a difference between saloons and wagon a pillar sizes!!

Yes there is, seen the before and the wagon is slightly taller with a longer windscreen hence the a-pillars aren't a straight swap

Not seen any, but you could make your own - I did for my saloon but I'm not after an OE colour match

I could chop my original and have it added to my 'short' one with a bit of custom fibre glass work I suppose. Why is nothing ever simple!??

I've just taken delivery of 2.5 litres of black plastidip so I'll be painting both A-Pillars, the top pod and my front splitter next

Tis exactly my plan, except for the splitter, my driveway isn't friendly

Is that the rspec one?

Do you have a wider angled pic? ( as in including the steering wheel etc?) just so I know what it looks like a bit better.

Thanks for the pics dude.

Is the viewing angle ok? Just from the pics it looks like their pointing a bit to much 'up'

If its not too bad ill most likely be biting the bullet and ordering soon.

They do point a little more up than I would have thought but a small price to pay for such a neat mod imo. I've not used gauges before so I could be wrong however.
