Default seatbelts

my drivers side seatbelt doesn't retract properly, not sure if thats due to the seatbelt itself or if its getting caught on the side of the seat.

is there anything that feeds the belt out a bit so it doesn't catch on the seat?

What car, what MY? Mine is similar, I think the springs get tired.

I'm even thinking of buying a spare so I can take it to bits to see if there is any way to tighten the retraction spring.

Mine is a 98 UK turbo with 90,000.
