Hawkeye Gauges
Apologies I know this has been covered before but I'm looking for engine bay pictures of completed gauge connection layouts. Specifically looking for finished installations for the oil pressure line and also where the boost line is connected in the manifold.

Haven't got any pics as yet but the boost gauge tube is connect via a T piece from the hose that goes onto the dump valve.
As for the oil pressure gauge the best place to fit it is begind the alternator via an adapter sometimes known as a Xmas tree.
I'm going to do mine tomorrow so will try and take some pics when I can.

Mine is a blob but i guess its the same:
As above. t into dump valve hose for boost.
Oil pressure is taken from original oil pressure sensor location under the alternator.
Here(not my picture):
This guide will help:

Its for a classic but the principal is the same.

As above, use that tapping, DO NOT use a sandwich plate.
If your sender is small enough, and you don't want the OE oil pressure light, screw the sender straight into that tapping. The sender threads are tapered, so a bit of pTFE tape and don't overtighten.
If the sender is too large, or you want the OE oil pressure light AS WELL AS a gauge, use a T-piece adpator, avilable on e-bay, or from your gauge seller.

Cheers guys I think I'm happy enough with the procedure, location of sender and blanking plug etc. Just looking for a end product photo of a hawk with nice neat and tidy installation
