Planning on getting these guages. will they be easy to fit?
and do they look ok?
only want oil temp and boost ..
heres the pod
http://www.rspec.co.uk/index.php?mai...roducts_id=658
here are the two guages
http://www.rspec.co.uk/index.php?mai...roducts_id=253
http://www.rspec.co.uk/index.php?mai...roducts_id=248
the boost guage is mechanical so that will be easy to fit with a t peice..
however the oil temp is electrical.
it says it comes with all senders and fitting kit.. but how does it fit? is this the one that goes to cylinder 3?
heard subaru already have a slot for the oil temp guage at the back of engine behind ic. is that true?
cheers
p.s. does it sound ok for £112? or too cheap and likely to cause problems?

It'll be just the same as fitting any other gauges of the same type.
Electrical I think is best all the way. As a mechanical boost gauge, you'll have to run the vaccum hose into the cabin, and it can get kinked, snagged, ripped etc.
With electrical, like the oil temp, its just a wire to the gauges in the car.
And yes, you can use the plug thats already on the block for the oild temp. Its down below the TMIC. You'll need an hex key to remove the bung thats in its place.
