MY99 UK Instrument Cluster - Swap?
Hi all
The instrument cluster on my MY99 UK Turbo has the speedometer in the centre with the tacho on the right. An awful lot of facelight clusters i've seen have these the opposite way round.
Is this just an STI thing? Are the clusters interchangeable?
Thanks

Yeah it's an import thing. Not sure about WRX's but STI's definitely do. I had an STI version 4 before and it was so much better having the revs in the centre!
I'm in the same boa. I have a 99 Turbo 2000 and wanted to swap. Was looking for STI version 5/6 dials.
Would love to know if they are a straight swap.

Nice, had a look at both threads. Looks a fairly straight forward conversion (i'm an electronics engineer) and the odometer IC shouldn't be a problem.
I tried to find the kph/mph converter you linked to but the link was broken. Do you know the format of the input/output signal? Perhaps I can knock up my own converter with a microcontroller.
Thanks

The seller of this cluster kindly checked the connectors on the back and they're not the same as the UK/STI import ones as discussed in this thread so would not be a straight forward conversion.
