Looking to get oil pressure and oil temp gauge from Scooby Mania and wondered what others thought of these. Main point for me is can they be fitted like the Defi i.e. number 3 cylinder and remove/replace oil pressure sensor. Not to keen on putting into sump area, so where do you put yours.
I will ask Mike on Tuesday but just interested in any problems for DIY fitting.
Thanks Terry

Don't see why not. I'm using the screw hole above the No 3 piston for mine and the oil pressure sensor (T-ing it off), but they aren't SPA gauges.

Haven't fitted them yet, but provided you have the right screw adaptors and stuff, I can't see that there would be a problem (although I could be wrong )

What type of gauges do you have then, just in case I change my mind about SPA.

Wink

I've got some Splitfire ones (http://www.splitfire.com). They are quite cheap compared to most gauges, but look to be good quality.

I've yet to fit them, but I have two out of the three. I should hopefully be fitting them in time for the big one meet in the midlands

I got them through Mook at http://www.mjdesignsuk.com. There should be a pricelist on his website

SPA gauges are fantastic - the Rolls Royce of gauges.

So many features...........

Just have to be careful you don't end up watching the gauge and not the road

I've had very good after sales service from them too.

I have one in at present - boost/charge temp.
Waiting on another, oil temp/egt.
You are welcome to see it though, mail me on russ@c20let.co.uk
The main reason I chose SPA is for the switchable features - you can have the gauge switch other things on and off at levels you choose. I plan to hook it up to my intercooler sprayer so that above a certain temp and boost the i/c is sprayed.

You're not gonna be too upset if it's not in a scooby though are you?
