My oil temp is usually 90 degrees, alarm at 100. pressure varies with revs, alarm at 2 bar (mine), and boost depends on your engine , and it's safe limits, mine's set at 2 bar to shut it up !

IMHO.

2bar pressure on your oil pressure to have an alarm?? Isn't that low? I thought the scoob ran at about 6bar pressure under some spirited driving?

As stated above boost will varie on what you have had done to your car etc, but the std fuel cut on these cars is around 1.25 or 1.3 bar I think so I would set it at around that mark (if the car is std) just incase fuel cut doesn't kick in and car overboosts something rotten.

Just my thought

Try this bit of software. I use it at work all the time.

Conversion Programme Convert is an easy to use unit conversion program that will convert the most popular units of distance, temperature, volume, time, speed, mass, power, density, pressure, energy and many others, including the ability to create cus

Its the single most useful piece of software I have.

Sounds about right, most gauges, even Defi's aren't 100% accurate.

imho

P.S. oil pressure set to 2 bar is enough to avoid warnings at idle when thrashed, on mine anyway.

My oil temp is about 80-90 degrees C, oil pressure is about 90-100 PSI which I think is about right "normal" driving. Incidently what sort of temperature do people let their car come on boost at?

tbh I let the oil temp reach 50 degrees before full beans, but a bit of boost won't hurt whilst warming up IMHO

Nice one, I have always give it up to 10 minutes depending on the outside temp before I had gauges, and now I have them it takes between 5 and 10 to get up to about that
