Defi Sweep Gauges on an 02 Bug
Hi
HAve just purchased a set of JDM STI clocks from an 03,which have the defi start up sweep.
The problem is that the clocks are illuminated all the time,is there any way of sorting this out so they illuminate when the lights are switched on as per normal?
Cheers

If your lights are on, the gauge lights will be on. I have the same problem with a Kenwood head unit as I too drive everywhere with my lights on. It's too dim during the day, as it naturally thinks it should be dark if I have my lights on, and manually changing from sync to manual on the unit is a pain.
I'd thought of using the left stalk's 'dim' dial and a relay to tell things when it was dark, but haven't got around to it yet. Anyone tried this?
