It appears my 22B has had the rear shelf modified to suit some hugely Jap speakers (not my cup of tea & they also light up when the cars lights go on- not cool....lol )
Is it possible to get replacements and if so where from??
Finally....how much of a ball ache are they to switch over- anybody done this before??
Any advice or direction will be greatly appreciated
Cheers,
Chris

Depends if the whole lot has been modded.
The shelf is in two parts, a metal base and a hardboard and cloth upper part.
the hardboard and cloth you could make yourself, using the old one as a template, it would cover quite a lot of mess underneath.
BUT: you might then be limited as to what speakers you COULD fit
, if the meat bit has been cut away. I suppose brackets COULD be made....
ICE dealers sell cloth for covering shelves, better quality than the Scoob stuff.
If you want to remain true to the type, it'll be the same as on any classic, breakers may have one.
