EGT (exhaust gas temperature) should be next on your list and Defi's are the best, both for accuracy & looks.

As far as I understand it..

The first thing to get really hot if your engine is having a problem are the exhaust gas's

So if your alarm goes off then its a good time to back off the gas.

I stand ready to be corrected.

I would get something to monitor real time AFR.

The Innovate Wideband kit would be the ideal choice (and just happen to have one installed in mine ).

You will be able to see if you're running lean at any point so you will know to back off and save your engine.

EGT's can be useful, but are only really an issue if you are generating over 900 deg c for sustained periods. This is where the standard valves can fail.

Depends on your mods whether you need EGT, your mapper should also take this into account when the car is mapped.

I've taken advice from people I really trust on this front as I didn't want my dash littered with gauges. General consensus is that a knock sensor and wideband AFR are the two to save your engine (although I did get some Defi Oil pressure/oil temp/boost as well ).

Turbo gauge in door column pod, oil temp, pressure and EGT are right to left in centre pod. SECS monitor above DVD/radio.
