Default Aircon controll light colour

is there anyway i can change the green standard light of the center console(aircon controllers) with red so that it can match my defi gauges??

I believe if you look over on the NASIOC forums some have done it, but it seems quite an involved job.

Done it on my classic and was fairly easy....Swaped them over with red led's but first you need to find the live feed into the panel and add a resistor there

It isnt too bad to do as long as you are competant with a soldering iron

6 ultra bright red 5v LEDs,the correct resistor and a length of wire and a soldering iron basically to have to solder the resistor to the +ve of the circuit board and the other end of the resistor to the +ve leg of the first LED then daisy chain the LEDS till you get to the last one where the wire goes from the -ve leg of the LED to the -ve of the circuit board.There is a better description with pics on NASIOC its a bit fiddly if you're not competent with a soldering iron

On mine I just bridged the input live wire with a resistor and as for the bulbs I used the original bulb housing with the led's in place of oe ones.
