Question

I could do with some un-biased opinions on seats for a car not a scoob what I hear you say!!Well it is for a focus I find that the recaro's seats in my my98 scoob are ok but after a long journey there not so comfortable so I coudln't really reccommend them to my mate he won't be track driving so he's not after a bucket but would like something that looks smart as well as being comfortable.

Sparco/OMP/Cobra/Corbeau/Recaro/Motordrive and others.

If you are looking for an aftermarket seat, the first thing to do will be to find who does a subframe/fitting kit for the Focus. This will narrow the choice somewhat. It will be virtually impossible to do without the correct subframe.

John
For Ford seat subframe fitments, try Burton Performance, or Demon Tweeks, EARS Motorsport, Peter Lloyd rallying for starters.

One thing to watch is to talk to people that do fitting kits for road cars, that incorporate slides so you can move the seat forward and backwards.

Rally seats are rigid mounted to the floor with fixed sidemount brackets and this will be no good for a road car.

John
The Milano is in Demon Tweeks's catalogue - but be warned, they are £987 a pair without subframes....

Lovely Dave

I like the Milano's though, nice but not full scale racing type things.
