screwing gear surrond.....
im about to fit a richbrooke gear surround to a MY00. am i safe to drill into the two corner spots just above the gear stick? is there anything close under them?? the job looks easy but dont wanna go ploughing through some electrics!!
anyone fitted one of these?

Strangely enough I did this at the weekend. I didn't hit anything, but don't know if that was just luck or not? Make the holes bigger very gradually so the screws are nice and tight.

easy job!! havent tried to see if everything is working though!! One screw is tighter than the other, but they are solid.
How scarey is it taking a drill to your beloved car?!!!
had to be very brave!! all i need now is for my new momo **** to arrive and it will all look great!

yeh ill take one this morning. I have stock leather gear **** at moment but am about to fit alu/leather race momo ****. (when it arrives!!) im thinking this will look even better. sort of tie together metal and leather. dunno?!!!

not great fotos but give you an idea. like i said waiting for delivery of momo alu/leather gear **** and sti pedals to add a little more metal to the interior to make it all fit nicely!!
