93wrx speedo needles?

hi people i have a 93wrx and i night when my speedo etc lights are on the needles stay dark and are hard to see, is this normal???.

any help or advice would be great.

greetings.. i also have this problem. i havent taken mine apart yet but was thinking of trying new faces and led bulbs.

Hmmmmmmm think im gonna look to cause it seems silly that the needles are not easy to see.
