Default dashboard lights gone off

my dash lights and heater lights have gone off inside my 93WRX, all my headlights and brakelights still work as any 1 got any ideas on what could be causing it. or if any1 knows a place close to Staffordshire i could take it to be looked at.

any help would be great

I am also having exactly the same problem can anyone help or have you now got yours fixed?? If so can you point me in the right direction..I have also lost the electric windows fuel guage and rev counter..all at once?

Check the main fuse box 1st, should be 20amp fuse. Replace it if it's blown & try switching the lights on again. If it blows then it's more than likely there's a short/bare wire amongst the loom.
If the fuse is ok then it could be a faulty earth or bad connection.
Bear in mind the rear tailgate lights (no. plate) are also linked to the interior illumination so its best to check them too.
I am in the same situtation with the illumination out, I removed the speedo & found some bare wire's. These have been now insulated but still blowing the fuse when lights are switched on.
I am getting a sparky on the case as Ive checked everthing I can.

i had this for six months every thing else worked and i could not find it in the end i wired the bulds ( without the holders) to a switch all i could do

and non of the fues blow now or before the went out

spot on it was the fuse in mine and all works fine again, sorry taken so long to reply. thanks for the great advise
