Default S E C S Data monitor

Just ordered one of the above and just wondered if any of you have got one if so what is your opinion of them.
I've had a look round on the net and it seems that the only prob with the backlit ones is the fact that you cant see it in bright sunlight.
With this in mind i have ordered the one with the illuminated display.

Cheers

Hi Gaz,

I love mine. I have no problem seeing it during the day, but at night it's very bright and you can't turn it down, but it looks good. I've got the single din unit for a 52 reg. When it first turned up I was a bit dissapointed, as for £350 it's about 4" deep, made of plastic, and looked cheap and tacky..... but once it's installed and running, it looks great. The reset ECU function is especially helpful when you've been messing round under the bonnet and caused the warning light to permanently stay on !

yep, have one on my classic, great bit of kit, fault code reading is worth the money alone.

I have one of the old LCD models which you can adjust the contrast, not sure for the VFD model
