Changing LEDs in Defi gauges
Has anyone done it?
I'm going to purchases the a set of Defi Link series white face gauges however I'm not a fan of it's green LEDs. I plan to swap it to red/amber LEDs to match my stock dials. I could however go for the BF amber series but would preffer the cheaper Link series with white face.
If anyone has done it?
How many LEDs are required for each gauge?
Is it easy disassemble the gauge and finally do you photos of the conversion?

I have tried and it aint easy, for a start the gauges are not held to gether with screws but the nice shiny bezel round the edge so **** that up a you **** up a gauge, secondly they use flat leds that are soooooo small i couldnt find any that size, Lastly you need a bendy soldering irin to get in un solder the old Leds and re solder the new ones so i gave up
If you do do it i would be happy to pay you to do mine but if you **** em up i would expect em to be replaced
