Hi

Installed Defi gauges and controller last night and tapped them into the same wires as the stereo

I need to install a knocklink tonight and am wondering where to get the +VE from for the knocklink. Am I overloading the stereo wiring by tapping into that again?

Also - if someone mentions the cigarette lighter, I have 3 wires going to it

BLACK, BLUE and ORANGE. Which is which?

+ve is the one that connects to the centre bit of the cig lighter.

Cool, will take a look tonight. I tried using a multimeter on the wires assuming the black was ground. I'm sure the blue is the lights but putting the meter across the black and orange gives me no reading with or without the ignition on. I'm probably missing something really stupid like there should be 2 connectors or something. It has been over 3 months since I unplugged them all

Ok, just found out with the help of Mr Multimeter that the one in the centre is a perminent live feed.

So I took it from the stereo again
