John

I haven't been able to find a decent set of white dials for my legacy yet - if you have any luck let me know - what legacy is it, what year - what does the speedo read to and in (kmh/mph).

PS Try taking the caps lock off - All caps is taken as shouting

I've got a 94 GT-B

This is a twin sequential turbo with Bilstien suspension - obviously an import.

I've added driving lights, decent ICE, 315mm front discs - quite a few plans

Subie Gal (Jamie?)

from what I've seen there is a much bigger legacy scene in the states with far more aftermarket kit over there. We seem to have the best choice on imprezas but loose out on legacies

huh??? how'd u know my name??? that's cool....

here in the states we have *some* limited stuff, but we really have to "dig" for it and the cost is usually outrageous!!!

i have been hunting for different dial colors, etc. for a while shame.... can't seem to find ANY!!!

maybe i'll just have to fabricate some myself!! ha!

Subie,

I think your e-mail address under your profile may be a slight giveaway

I can lend some crayons for those dials if you like. Couldn't get them to work myself though

I like the idea of white dials, but I'll be b*****y frustrated if you find some now that I've added, boost , oil, volts gauges and a matching clock and deliberately went for black cos I couldn't get the main dials changed to white.

Subie Gal (Jamie) - your email address was a fairly easy way to guess your name (Is your GT a saloon or estate (in americanese Sedan or Wagon)

americanese!! funny!!
it's a saloon - i have added a modified exhaust, H&R springs, intake, strut brace, sway bar, rally lights, skid plate, etc.

wish it was a turbo though!

Subie Gal

What are the H&R springs like, I have had some on order for the past 4 weeks and they should be here next week, it already has Bilstein shocks (part of the GT-B spec) but it seems too high, so hopefully it will roll less with the H&R.

Got any pictures of it?

mine is on

the H&R's are very nice... not too stiff and didn't *lower* the car too much. I have the stock struts (for now - I will be getting the KYB/AGX adjustables) and the car performs wonderfully... I think you will really enjoy them!

you can view the car here -

Your car looks great, fairly obvious its a Subaru, but looks great with the Yellow on Black, I love the lights too, was thinking about them on mine but I wasn't sure what they would look like

Very tempted now!

Almost bought a black GT-B, but mine had the better wheels and looked better at the time, think the black might have had more potential (This is the first car I've had for years that hasn't been bright red or black)

just took a peek at your car!! very nice! I really like the wheels. are those *stock* ?
sooner or later I will get another *summertime* set of wheels... i'd like the O.Z. Supertourismo's but we can't get them here in the states

Yeah, they are the stock GT-B wheels for 95 on GT-Bs They are 7*17 with 215/45 17s

Think I might go look at some lights tomorrow, this is getting expensive, new front brakes last week, new rear brakes this week (300mm vented, drilled discs). scoobysport exhaust and downpipe being designed next week and getting the remainder of the windows tinted tomorrow!

John - Sorry not much here about white dials

funny!! we have a whole section devoted to the Legacy on the US board.. but not too much goes on there...

I am installing a racing harness next week - that will be nice to have as i race a lot in the spring/summer - it's only a 3-point though... I will put in the 5 point after I get my racing seats and rails... keep dreaming Jamie!

STI do white dial updated instrument panels for the legacy - there are two, one for manual (7500 rpm redline) and one for auto gearbox cars (7000 rpm redline)...both are a heady 66,000 yen - have nice illuminated sti logo and are calibrated up to 300 kmh (!!) and 10,000 revs - part numbers are:
ST8500066010 for manual and ST8500066020
for the auto....available from any sti parts dealer - try hitoshi@takakaira.com for a quotation

cheers,Paul W
