Question

hey all,

Are there any special things needed to fit STi seats into a classic Impreza 98 Wagon?

I've got a 99 wagon and I have read on SIDC that these are STI seats with a bit more padding. I'm pretty sure that they will fit but can't say for sure.

Hi Sleepy - do you reckon you could post up some pics? The standard seats I've got have NO lateral support whatsoever, are plain grey trim and have no wraparound headsupport.

Actually fitted sti interior into my old 96 sports saloon, drivers and passenger seats, my old seats only had four stud holes, where as the new sti seats had five. all the other stud holes lined up correctly.
Just remember to take off the seat belt clip off you old seats, cos mine dint clip into the ones on the sti seats, so after bolting everything up, I had to take out the seats and change them over.Worth every minute of it though as they looked the mutts nuts!

Here's my MY97 (would me MY96 to you guys) with 2002 (2001 to you guys) WRX seats in it. Direct swap. sit a bit higher than stock, but luckly drivers side is adjustable.

And just for fun... my shift boot trim peice and leather boot.
It wasn't actually installed yet, just layed it down to show. Much better if you ask me.

I've since ditched this shift **** my friend made me for a stock 2002 Leather one. now I just need a steering wheel from a 2002 or other nice Momo airbagged wheel.

Thanks - Jon
