Well, as I suspected most of the MY01/02s over here seem to have 60mm gauges fitted. I'd still be interested to hear from anyone that has the oem gauge pod fitted. Can anyone confirm what size the gauges are that Subaru UK provide? I know some of you have them fitted cos I read through every gauge related post in the interior section on a particularly quiet afternoon (how sad eh? ). Anyway, for those interested this is some of the information I've found out .

I widened my search to I-club OEM gauge pod and found that a few people have used the standard pod with an Omori gauge panel holder which seems to be able to hold either 45 or 52mm gauges. The panel can be seen at the bottom of this page Omori.

I also found a couple of pictures of what I believe are 52mm gauges installed. (Edited to say that maybe the top pic is 60mm as the gauges look slightly bigger?)

I know it looks slightly different to the defi pod but as I stated above I don't want a carbon pod. Theres rumours that Scoobymania might be doing a plain pod made of fibre glass reinforced plastic but this wasn't available when I contacted them.

Anyone got any comments? Pictures of gauges in MY01/MY02 appreciated.

Mark

As an accountant, give me a set of numbers and I can make them say anything you want ...but when it comes to doing things to the car its best left to those in the know, such as yourself. Its only easy when you know how .Thanks for the offer of help.

I've got boost, oil temp and pressure, and EGT. Sorting the EGT sounds a bit daunting. Will have a chat with you at this weekends meets.

Question

Has anyone fitted 52mm defi gauges in a centre pod into an MY02 Sti type UK? If so, which pod did you use? Pictures would be much appreciated.

I’m looking for a non-carbon pod that blends in with the greyish dash colour. I know Subaru UK make one but having spoken to one parts department they seem to think it takes 60mm gauges. Can anyone confirm this?

Before I ring round all the usual places, ie Nitosport, Scoobymania etc, can anyone point me in the right direction of a pod that fits the MY02 and takes 52mm gauges.

Thanks

Mark

Spoke to Jane at Nitosport a couple of weeks ago. They do pods for the MY01/02 which take 60mm gauges, but not 52mm .

Think I've sourced a pod now . Have ordered it and will post some piccies when I get it. Its coming from quite a way away!!

LOL @ Iain , you obviously know I won't be fitting myself!! In fact I've read up on how its done and I'm still not much the wiser .

I still want to get a couple more bits and will sort out the fitting then. I have a few options in mind.
