Glove Box Gap
I have a problem with my glove box.
When its shut the top line starts of straight near the passenger side window. But as u go down towards the centre console there is a 1cm gap. The gap is on top of the box.

I think you need to loosen the bit that the catch latches on to - its just held by screws. You can the realign it and retighten. Does not do a perfect job but you can get it to close a fair bit better. As above, there was a thread ages ago when I did mine. Can't remember the details though!

To get it to shut 'better' just fiddle with the centre latch.
It's only 2 or 3 screws to loosen it. The catch moves back and forward. Just wiggle it about loosening/tightening until the glove box shuts more tightly.
If I remember rightly my catch is now slightly squint but the glove box almost shuts flush now
used to have a 1 inch gap on the right hand side
.. it's a 5 min job.
Doofus.

It's a feature of the car, "they all do that sir"
Both the Turbos I've had have been the same. You get used to it. It's almost like the elbow dent on the driver door arm rest, where it isn't strong enough and the hardboard or whatever breaks, and is only held together with the tacky plastic cover
They all do that......
Lol, but we love em
