Anyone fitted one of these (the carbon fibre one) to an MY00 classic shape impreza? Just wanna check that it fits before I order one.

If so do you also know the cheapest place to get one?
Simon.

Dunno. Looking at the leather handbrake lever cover on my MY00 Turbo it doesnt look like these MOMO covers will fit. Certainly wouldnt be comfortable doing it myself. Think I will just go down to my local boy racer shop (Carnoisseur) and get them to fit one.

FYI
I tried to order one of these from demon tweeks and they advised that the price in the catlogue of £52 ish INCLUDING the gaitor doesnt include the gaitor!!!!??!?
when I sounded ratherer disapointed at this they offered it to me as a package at a price of £74 inc VAT. This seems a little on the steep side considdering it doesnt fit exactly so gave it a miss, would be interested if people have a cheeper source though

I paid £50 for handle and £35 for gaiter and had to adapt it to fit.
The leather/rubber sleeve over handbrake has to be cut off.
You then need a Momo pitstop adapter to go over the end of the handbrake before you slide the handle on.
It is then tightened up with 4 grub screws and the gaiter slips over the screw end. Voila!
Oh yeah, a couple of things, The gaiter has to be chopped as well, otherwise it will jam in the centre console so trim it back a little as you only see about 2 inches of leather sticking out anyway.
And I also cut a section out of the original leather/rubber sleeve to fit under the base of the Momo handle, near to the grub screws to pack it out a little and stop it moving...a nice tight fit!
Hope this helps.

Don't give the robbing Subaru dealers the money....
Buy from http://website.lineone.net/~motormec/momohb.html
As for the fit, Momo may not make an adapter for the STI7 but they are not hard to adapt and make fit, and the end result is worth it!
