Cover to pick a car up
Can't find anything on my policy to see if I'm covered to go pick a car up using my policy...
Anyone know if it's still the same as in I'm fully comp can I go grab another car (for the missis) on a third party bit?
Just googled those 1 day covers and it's nearly £50

Is the car from dealer (they sometimes have a free 7 day insurance)
Or is it private (if it's still insured on owner, tell them to keep it active for the day you bring it home then you can drive it 3rd party if your fully comp)
Other option is to take out a fresh policy or change it over from your wife's original policy when bringing it home.
Or if you have a trailer.

Fully comp on evo 9 , 3rd party on a transit, 3rd party on my lasses corsa.
All I want to do is go grab her a Cooper s without being done for no insurance.
Cooper is still in daily use so I assume there policy is still active

A car that has no insurance or what ever, you are not legal to drive on your policy.
As said above, ask the cooper owner if it's all legal to drive (ins, tax, mot) then ask if they would mind keeping their policy active for the drive home.
You can check ins database, askmid.com
