Might aswell not bothering insuring it then, save £2500.... as your policy will be void.

If you have an accident and your insurers look at your policy don't be suprised if they accuse you of 'fronting' and void your policy.

If they prove it's your car, and they'll look into it these days, they can void your dads policy and take you to court for any 3rd party costs. (ie you hit a £20k BMW they can take you to court to get that £20k back if your policy is voided)

And yes, i've seen it happen. (not anyone we insure i'd add)

Some insurers prefer you to be honest, and will give a bigger discount.

Don't always assume it's cheaper under a parents name

Admiral buddy.... I'm 22 and just got insurance for £650 on a 02' WRX. Check out my other thread....

unless you live in a horrid postcode then I'm pretty sure you could get it for £1500.

I think the problem here is your'e 21. Most companies wont insure till 25 which is bollocks. Admiral will at 21 and will probably be competitive. Maybe wait till 21 unless you want to pay a fortune?

£1900 is very good for a 20 year old, you'll struggle to beat that IMO
