Default Blob eye STI vs STI PPP ???

Using the ever popular insurance comparison websites I got a quote for a STI that I might buy. Then suddenly I saw a reasonably priced STI PPP.

Both cars are the same age and in each instance I typed the reg in to the website. The website listed both cars as a STI and quoted me the same insurance.

Is this correct, or am I on thin ice buying a PPP and would they need to be told that it is modified even if it was bought new as a STI PPP?

Cheers all.

Most, if not all by now, insurance companies recognise the PPP as a factory option.

If your thinking of modding it don't bother with the PPP as its not worth the extra cash IMO
