Insurance from leon cupra to wrx
Im currently insured on a leon cupra for 1849 TPFT (20 going on 21)
just wondering if insuring a 1.8t for a year will have any indication on what i am able to insure the following year. Scooby's well on its way to getting completed so would like some idea of how it's going to affect me.
It's a classic wrx 1995, exhaust, panel filter, sti tmic , 4 pot brakes front 2 pot rears and remap.
I can detune the car if it's going to make a hellish differance.

Thats the move I made, Leon Cupra to Impreza WRX. My insurance went up by about £100, bear in mind though that I was 35 so any insurance may quote you unhappy to keep you off their books.

Im assuming your not declaring the mods then. As it would prob be over 3000 if you were. Scooby are 1 of the hardest cars for insurance at a young age. Im 24 and costs me 1100 on a standard STI PPP blobeye. At 21 i was getting quotes over 2.5k on a wrx

When I was 21 I managed to insure my blob wrx as standard for 1600 in the end which I'm sure was a **** up but I was fully covered (the initial quote was 2500). But now coming 22, fully declared with what I've done with it this last year is 1000

It will be put back to standard and then work my way up from there.
Its possible as have seen few people getting decent quotes. Considering ill be living in a very good postcode and not a lot of mileage,
Brentacre and keith michaels will get a phone nearer xmas time when i plan to have it finished off.
