Look at the plus side.... live in a better postcode and buying a house will probably cost an extra £100,000

I'd rather pay more for insurance and less for a house.

Keep shopping around for quotes. My friends looking currently and was priced something along the lines of £800 uk turbo wagon £950ish for saloon, £1200 wrx and £1500+ for sti. These figures are ball park from memory of a conversation a few weeks ago. Hes about your age and had a type r written off a few years ago so no claims should be similar, postcode also not great.

ive looked and looked and looked again, nobody seems to quote decent prices,i mean moley give me a quote i just thought id see what everyone else will do for me but iam yet to get close to it yet......id like a saloon really but i dont really want to pay anymore than 1450-1500 max a year so moleys is close really, i just dont no if the quote will come down abit if i leave it another month or 2, id like a turbo but its really putting me off all these prices, i mean even a 98 sport is 1300

Have you tried admiral?

Keith Michaels etc couldn't even quote me on a wrx turbo even though I'm 29 with 7 years no claims and only ever having driven BMWs but admiral gave me £947 quote.

They could be worth a try
