Hi Wazlee,

Thanks for taking time to comment.

As you found, modifications are not a problem to us. After covering performance and modified cars for so many years (plus at least half of our staff having owned and ran modified vehicles of their own) we have decent technical knowledge in relation to vehicle modifications.

Individual modifications are also covered under our modified car schemes on a like for like replacement basis.

Our preferentially rated schemes are selective, but as you found if you have decent driving experience and meet the criteria we're pretty competitive.

Kind regards

Tony

I've had my Golf 1.8T insured with greenlight for quite a few years now, with every mod declared. Always very helpful and friendly, especially when adding more mods to my policy.

Also get a list of everything that's covered

Thanks Beastra,

We can cover performance cars with or without modifications and we've specialised in covering performance and modified cars since early 1996.

The lions share of our staff have owned performance cars, most of which had modifications of some kind. Which helps to ensure we have decent technical knowledge in relation to performance models, the impact and merit for carrying out specific modifications, along with most of the available tuners and their conversions.

We're modification friendly and regard someone who has spent their hard earned cash to enhance their vehicle to their own specification as a positive thing.

The attention to detail of wanting to plan, then enhance your vehicle to your own specification demonstrates that your car is not just a piece of metal or means of getting from A-to-B. Often resulting in a greater care toward the car (watching where you park the vehicle etc.).

Individually damaged or stolen modifications are also covered properly under our dedicated modified car policies on a like for like replacement basis.

Kindest regards

Tony

Tried you online Tony but you were way off some of the main stream companies. 38 years old, 9 years n/c, clean license etc.

Maybe next year.

Thanks for trying us Sy5,

Sorry that we didn't work out so well for your circumstances this time around.

We're usually competitive for most WRX or WRX Sti models, especially if they're modified.

We do always offer our best rate first time every time. But i'd be happy to take a look at your application for you, to see if there are any factors that are influencing our rate this time around and can respond to you via PM.

If you would like me to do so, simply PM me your actual name, postcode and any quotation reference (or vehicle Registration number) so I can get onto this for you.

Kind regards (and thanks once again for the opportunity)

Tony

No Worries Sy5,

The deal that you managed to get at under £300 for a WRX really is very good, but thanks once again for trying us.

Kind regards

Tony
