Default why cant i find insurance for a scooby

bit of background, ive been driving going on 8 years now in that time ive owned 8 different subaru's 3 sports 1 uk turbo 2000 an 3 imports, amonst that has been a range of other cars aswel.my problem is now i recently turned 25 i went to insure my 94 wrx import, rang admiral who before has always done me a good price only the year before i had a 93 import and a 24 was paying 150 a month which is steep i know but thought il do it until i was 25,anyway i sold that one and bought a 94 import which i picked up of a mate needed a gearbox, ive recntly done all the work went to insure it with admiral and they wanted nearly 3k! ive looked on here rang alot of the companies and none of them are intrested, iam 25 2 years no claims, i had to sell the car and buy something sensible, iam now looking at getting another if i can find a decent price,

sorry for the life story just dont understand it why one minute i can insure the car the next i cant, the older i get the harder it gets??? REALLY!!!

ANYONE??

Without wanting to get too involved, try the following: Keth Micheals, ask for Gary, then Greenlight, ask for Tony, then Sky, and A plan. Im with Gary and im very pleased with the quote and service, Gary is a gent. As for Tony I have had no dealings with him, but he was the best quote for my mate, and he was also very please considering the price hike recently. For what its worth check this out: http://www.motorcarinsuranceuk.co.uk...de-ratings.php Rob
