Default No no claims

I have no no claims (personal) having had random cars lasting less than a year due to having access to company cars/vans. My company insurance brokers have said they will writet a letter stating i have had no claims LGV/Van or car for more than 10 years. Had my own company car for 11 months, clean licence for 10+ years and 41 years old.
Will all above be used favourably to get a decent scoob quote? Or am i going to get creamed?

If you have experience driving performance cars for more than a year (for the last year really) then it might help, but without that experience bend over and lube up.

1.8 Vectra count?
So better to go for a cheap classic then, keep the cost down?

Unfortunately not.

We still have companies who will quote, but it does limit how many companies who'll give a price by quite a lot.

trying to budget so insurance is a big factor, would prefer newage but dont want insurance to kill car choice
eg; 99 classic or 03 newage similar spec, similar prices then?
going to avoid sti or mods for a while...

It really depends on who'll quote.

Main factors (with the insurers who will quote) will be age, any claims, and postcode more than anything else.
