Anyone else had problems getting through to Gary Moulson
Had a nightmare trying to get through to Gary, is he on holiday?
Been trying for 2 days now, need my insurance sorting before end of next week.

Yes he is always busy. Yes hard can be hard to get hold of but worth it when you do. IMHO
I agree send him a PM on here and he has always got back to me.
Top fella BUT very busy.

Tried to get hold of him for 3 weeks & phoned dozens of times, left loads of messages & even talked to the bloke sitting beside him and assured he would call straight back after Gary got off the phone.......... Sweet F all? crazy must only be interested in new policies for the commission!

Totally agree, i dont buy into this too busy lark, if everyone who phoned and got through STRAIGHT away that company would be in the FTSE 100.
I had been with Gary for last 5 years but could not get through when i got another car, sent PM's phoned etc.
Spoke to someone else and cancelled my policy. Not a good way to do business IMO but some on here will not have a bad thing said about the way They(KM) conduct business.
Get a Assistant FFS.

Not too busy? Really?
I'm not just here to quote new customers, i'm here to help existing ones.
Unfortunatley with a mixture of holidays and hospital appointment over the last 2-3 months it's been harder to get hold of me than normal.
Fingers crossed it'll be back to normal after next Tuesday.
For every person who complains they can't get through to me there are 10-15 who get straight through (and often comment they can't understand these posts saying it's hard to get through).

Please note, when going through to my voicemail it DOESN'T say to leave a message, it asks to try in 10-15 minutes, as i hardly get a chance to check the messages people leave regardless of the message on there.

Right then, you've had a rant.... now my go.
I'd challange any of you moaners to find an insurance broker who'll answer your questions/deal with problems at 11.30 on a Sunday night, which i do a lot of the time.
I'd also challange you to find one who is an active part of the Subaru community away from the insurance section, going to meets and even taking clients out for passenger rides on track days.
Some people think it's their God given right to get straight through to me and get an amazingly cheap quote.
Sorry, i'm am only human!!!
It appears that seems to get forgotten sometimes.
I've had people moan that i've gone on holiday (came back to 15 pm's saying ''i know you're on holiday, but....''), and even suggest i shouldn't have a lunch break untill i've rung every message back.
I work my bollocks off trying to help as many people as i can, and i appreciate the positive comments from those who i am able to help.
Recently i've have a few complications with a small operation i had on my arm, meaning i've have to finish early a few days, and have a couple of half days. Unfortunately this has made things a bit worse gettig through.
I was actually advised to take a few days off work to completely rest my arm, but due to my current workload i ignored this advise (what a hero ).
I then come on here, read these comments, and REALLY wonder why i bother sometimes.
Most people i insure will agree i'm not a normal ''quote and sell'' insurance broker. Lots of people appreciate i am a fellow enthusiast, and we often have chats about each others cars... and i enjoy that.
I'm not going to start being rude to customers and refuse to chat to them.
Also, i'm not just here to sell policies, i'm here to help my clients.
If you want a broker who takes your money, then refuses to help if you have a claim then go elsewhere, i pride myself on my service to existing customers.
I try to find a balance between new quotes and existing customers, clearly i need to try harder with this.
I know it's about taking the rough with the smooth. I can't really moan about the negative posts whilst taking the credit for the positive ones.
Sorry if this upsets anyone, but like i said above, i'm only human.
I try my hardest, but this obviously isn't enough for some on here.
One final point, thank you to those who i am able to help, and who appreciate the work i put in. Your comments are definately appreciated, and make all this crap i get off some people worthwhile.

If you want to speak to one of them feel free, you probably won't get the same price as i'd get you (just like they are better than me with CV's, fleets, etc..)

I have been with KM (Gary) for a while now and every time I need a policy change, ie my gf added
It was done with no extra charge.
Also Gary sorted my track day insurance for me with no hassle. The drive on the way to brands my gearbox blew up.
I simplely sent Gary a pm and explained and he canceled the track day cover with no charge, ( all after office hours)
What company does that ?
Keep up the good work
Cheers Gary

The thing is these days people want everything NOW as that's what they are used to with all the online sites with instant cover etc. Bespoke services take time and from time to time the ball gets dropped or fumbled etc. The upside is you are dealing with someone who knows the cars and is an enthusiast so will get better and more realistic service if you need to claim whereas you get your chain yanked by the bigger more faceless companies who want your money but sure as **** don't want you to have anything come claim time.
As much as I am an obnoxious tw@ most of the time I prefer to deal with people rather than some anonymous call centre.

Had no problems getting hold of Gary recently and he even managed to not laugh when I asked him to quote for something distinctly mundane and shopping trolley'ish.
Great help as usual so no worries from me - some people must just have bad timing...

I'd also like to thank Gary for all his hard work on my behalf when it comes to renewal time.
Gary always gets me the best price for a like for like policy, I've tried A Plan for a comparison but they can never beat Gary's renewal price.
I've never had to ring more than 3 times to get to speak to Gary.
It's easy enough to criticise but I personally cannot fault Gary or Keith Michaels.

I have 3 scoobs and they're all insured with Gary, and probably for the same money some of you struggle to insure for one
The guy is a legend, personally and professionally you'll struggle to find a nicer bloke with the same enthusiasm and integrity.
Keep ringing is my advice
