car ncb to bike policy

Default car ncb to bike policy

looking into selling up and taking bike test,i have 11 years ncb on my car policy does anyone know if i will be able to start using these ncb on the bike policy as i will have no car and besides the bonus saved i would not wish to lose these if i dont by a car again within the next 2 years cheers

i think it depends very much on the company... i found very few that would let me interchange my bike and car ncb...

I have never been able to use car ncb for a motorbike. The insurer will accept any ncb from a 50cc up but only from a motorbike. If you are going down the direct access route my advice is to stick to a 600cc bike for a year or so before going for anything bigger.

Bikes I have,
Triumph 675
Husaberg te300 (enduro bike)
Honda crf450 supermoto

yes that the plan mate dont want anythin bigger than a 600 would just like to carry my ncb across so i dont lose them.
