Default What should i be paying

anyone know what sort of money i should be looking at paying for fully comp insurance on my99 uk turbo? i am 33 have no ncb 6 points and post code cf14. getting quotes from go compare etc for around £1000,seems a bit steep to me, any advice would be greatly appreciated
almost forgot car has light mods back box wheel refurb, nothing major

to be honest with you with your criteria that price isn't to bad, you could always try Gary at Keith Michaels.

I got my 98 uk turbo insured for £500 from Flux Direct. Roughly same age and points and live in Glasgow. Other quotes I got were £700 - £900.

having points wont help but online compare sites just get computer quotes back,best to actually phone and speak to a human who can jangle and jiggle their criteria/companies etc etc
