Unhappy

Hi Peeps,

I'm going to have to leave the Scoob at Manchester Airport for one week. I'm a little nervous about this....

No doubt they will want the Keys, does this invalidate insurance? Do I pay for some other insurance in the price of the parking?

Thoughts appreciated...

I'd try and find some off-site parking through the Internet so you don't need to leave your keys when you go. As far as I know, you don't get any other insurance so rely on your own.

Ive' got to check in at 5am Anyway, I've phoned the Reservations line, and they said that they will take the keys, and the car is compresensively insured under manchester airport whilst they have the keys. I will be signing a piece of paper which sez so as well! Which is nice.

Mr.Manchester: thanks for the offer, but I'll let you get your beauty sleep

I leave mine at airport car parks and they keep the keys, in Feb this year whilst checking in somebody else was argueing with them after arriving back from Mexico that their car had been scratched or bumped and they (the car park staff) were having none of it.
The car park was a Manchester Airport car park and ive left it before at another wher you park the car and take the keys with you, its called Carminder. But you wait longer for the bus when you get back.

Left my wife's Scenic in the long stay over Christmas. No problems, kept the keys myself and walked to the car park when we returned - about 10 mins from Terminal 1.
