Default 22yrs, 5 years driving, 1yr ncb, i stand a chance?

hi

my insurance is coming up for renewal in january 2010 and im looking at a impreza wrx and by that time i will have 1 years ncb. i currently drive a astra coupe turbo but don't know if that quite qualifies as a sports car experience in the eyes of an insurance company.

the quotes on a 2004 wrx are around £1800 fully comp and too be fair i though it was going to be worse lol

this was through confused.com with admiral being the best quote. recon this could be made cheaper?

cheers

Don't know about the best insurance companies for insuring imprezas but i've always got good quotes form Adrian Flux.

Previously had a Calibra V6, which was group 17 and was paying £350 i was 25 with 4yrs no claims.

Try A-plan, Adrian Flux, Keith Michaels and Academy. £1800 seems like a good place to start and work down.
