Needed a quote for my new age impreza sti, I also have a mondeo which I use as a daily driver to and from work.. Admiral quoted me 600 for the impreza and 300 for the mondeo with free legal cover and recovery was able to use my 5 years no claims on both vehicles too. thought that was very reasonable for fully comp

It might still be worth trying some other companies but yes the price sounds reasonable enough!

Very true, but the problem I have is needing to use my no claims bonus on 2 cars at the same time, admiral is the only insurer to do this as far as im aware

Yes and no. We (Sky) could 'mirror' the NCB over from the main vehicle onto the second vehicle.. You would have to have two seperate polocies but being able to 'mirror' the NCB usually makes us very competitive. Also, we may be a little more modification friendly and will understand the car and mods.

The multicar policy came up trumps for us, altho yet to speak about adding the RS, with the noble, scoob and freelander it was £700.

Me too! I insure 3 cars and pay around the £1000 mark.. One of the cars is highly modified though, engine swapped etc so the insurance on this one is nearly £600 by itself!

The highest was the scoob, UK99 with exhaust, coilovers, brakes and rear window tints all declared. That was £300, the freelander was £200 and so was the noble be it limited to 3k miles.
