Default Gary has done it again

Hi,

This is my first post on here and I'd just like to say how fantastic Gary has been sorting out my insurance. If it wasn't for him I would not be the proud owner of my first (and hopefully not the last) Impreza 2000 Turbo.

I'm 26 with 0 NCB and 0 convictions, I've been a named driver on another policy for 5+ years so as you can imagine not alot of insurance companies are willing to touch anyone with 0 NCB. A-Plan for instance told me they require atleast 2 years. Most of the companies who would look at it were quoting £1800 - £2200.

The car is a MY98 2000 Turbo, kept on the drive and covering 5 - 6k a year.

Phoned Gary who was extremely helpful and got the quote down to an incredible £680.

The guy really is as good as everyone says he is if not better.

I urge anybody looking for a new quote or renewal to phone him, I think you would be presently surprised.

I meant to ask you today Gary - what differance does it make if i have access to another car? In my case, i'm a named driver on my Lasses vrs - would my quote be different if i wasn't?

Guys, I PM'd him too, but I believe him to be very, very busy, so a reply may take him a while.

Try calling him, I guarantee it'll be worth it

Came a bit late to this line, but why would anyone cancel their Tracker sub [see BRUN above]? I'd use the money saved on the insurance quote to upgrade my Tracker so the minute the car is lifted, they call me.

My car is 9 years old, has 108k on the clock, is in need of some paintwork and is probably worth £3.5k - simply, i wouldn't want it back. Even if my car was worth alot of money - i'm not sure i'd want it back after some ****** had had his hands on it anyway. You will find that alot of people share this view. Besides all this, do a search and you will find a few examples of people who have had their car lifted with a tracker fitted, and the car has never been found!!!
